Daz is the other half of the Daz and Ellie Driver Training combination! He has been a driving instructor for over 6 years and has been a facilitator and car coach for Behind The Wheel since 2017.
Prior to becoming an instructor, Daz was a local bus driver for Eggins Comfort Coaches Taree, and currently still works part time in that capacity. Karen and Wayne from Behind The Wheel believe that Daz exudes a very relaxed nature which always puts his students at ease from the very first meeting. His decision to change career paths has been an excellent choice and his understanding of students and their needs makes Daz an excellent instructor, and this is why Behind The Wheel have engaged with Daz to facilitate and coach the Safer Driver’s Course.
Currently, Daz works as a driving instructor in the Taree area and also assists with the Behind The Wheel Safer Drivers Courses in Forster, Taree and Port Macquarie. He holds a HR Drivers licence, an unrestricted Drivers Instructors Licence (manual and automatic) and a Working With Children Certificate. Daz has also completed a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Driver Training) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Daz is also is an accredited Keys 2 Drive instructor and provides FREE KEYS 2 DRIVE lessons.
