Kim is the owner of Kim's Driver Training based in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. She has been a driving instructor for over 30 years and has been a Safer Drivers Course car coach for Behind The Wheel since 2021.
Kim delivers lessons with a patient, respectful, fun and passionate attitude towards learning. Kim's goal is to help Learner drivers become safe and confident behind the wheel. Karen and Wayne from Behind The Wheel believe that Kim's experience over more than 30 years as a driving instructor, along with her positive attitude and ability to build rapport with her students, is why Behind The Wheel have engaged with her to coach the Safer Driver’s Course.
Currently, Kim works as a driving instructor in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas and also assists with the Behind The Wheel Safer Drivers Courses in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas. Kim holds an unrestricted Drivers Instructors Licence (manual and automatic) and holds a Working With Children Certificate. Kim has also completed a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Driver Training) and the Safer Drivers Course Training Course for Coaches.
